This painting will always have a special place in my heart. I was inspired to paint this over the summer of 2020 while on a cross-country road trip. This was the view from a campsite I stayed at near Moab, Utah right alongside the Colorado River with a group of friends and strangers we had met along the way. I never want to forget those 3 nights in the desert and I wanted to capture that memory on canvas.
